Police are warning the public about a door-to-door magazine sales scam.

The salesperson claims to be selling the magazines to benefit a local high school or get points for college or for cancer research. The individual obtains personal information from the buyers and uses the information fraudulently. The magazines that the buyers order never arrive.

Some of the names the company have been using are: Frontline Communications LLC; HP Consulting; and MD Network. They originated in the State of Colorado where they have been fined $1 million.
